After The Storm
We hope everyone was safe and made it through the storm with little to no damage. If you did incur damage, contact our office or your carrier direct. You can locate your carriers contact info on the claims page of this website. Remember, you are required by your policy to mitigate any further damage to your property. For example; if you have a hole in your roof, you must put a tarp over the hole as soon as possible. Or, if you have a plumbing leak, you will need turn off the water main and have it repaired as soon as possible. Take photos of any damage prior to any work being started and keep copies of your receipts. You will need to present these to the adjuster when he arrives to access the damage. Keep in mind that the whole State was impacted by the storm. So, please be patient, as the adjusters are doing their very best to respond to each claim as soon as they can. Also, wait for the adjuster before you begin any repairs except those that are necessary to prevent further damage to your property. We are all in this together!
