Coverage's Explained:
Bodily Injury Liability
Liability insurance covers bodily injury and property damage that you may cause to other people involved in an accident. It doesn't cover you or your motorcycle.
Collision
Collision insurance covers the damage to you motorcycle minus the deductible.
Comprehensive
Comprehensive coverage pays for damage caused by an event other than collision, such as wind, fire, theft, or vandalism.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist
Unisured/underinsured Motorist covers damages to you and your property caused by another driver who either does not have insurance or does not have adequate insurance.
Medical Payments
Is a coverage over and above PIP in which the insurer agrees to reimburse the insured and others up to a certain limit for medical or funeral expenses as a result of bodily injury or death by accident.
Property Damage Liability
This coverage pays for damage you (or someone driving your vehicle with your permission) may cause to the property of someone else.
Rental Reimbursment
This coverage generally provides for a rental motorcycle in the event of a covered accident. (Please check with your agent for the specific details of your carrier.)
Roadside Assistance
This coverage is an optional coverage offered by all of our motorcycle carriers. Please contact your agent about the details of your specific carrier as each carrier varies in what is covered.
Passenger Liability
Liability protection for a non resident family member riding with you. It is not required in Florida, however, if you are not the only rider on your bike, it is worth some consideration.
